Thanks for asking! As the author of this pattern, I'm giving people permission to copy and knit the pattern with very few restrictions.
You may knit this pattern as many times as you want, for whoever you want, with whatever yarn you want (even fun fur, really, it's ok) and you can even sell the nauties if you want.
Here are the restrictions: If you sell, give away, or otherwise distribute the written pattern, make sure to include the information that it was written by Beth Skwarecki and is available for free from knitty.com . (If you print out the page from knitty.com, including knitty headers and the "about the author" bit, that's good enough). However, you may not publish this pattern as part of a book without further permission from me.
